The new SFH website, launched on 12-Aug-2007

On August 12th, 2007, Seeds For Hope launched its new website, at http://www.seedsforhope.org.   We have reorganized our content, provided a new "Information Architecture" (for all you web people out there), and have given the site a whole new look and feel.  Going with the metaphor found in the color green, symbolizing life, abundance... see how it fits in with the whole "Seeds" thing?  But there is more to come!

This is just the first phase of our use of the web for communications, community involvement, and documenting our work, and of course, sharing it with all of you.   Some of the things we have planned are:

  • Section 508 Compliance with the American Disabilities Act
  • The SFH Blog, where our staff and volunteers will share their experiences on the field
  • Web 2.0-ization! (what's this? )
  • Media!

In addition to updates to the actual website, we've increased our presence on the web and have started communities on Facebook, Myspace, and Flickr to get better connected with all of you.  To find us at these sites, click on the links below:

Together we're gonna have our part in changing this world, by helping our brothers and sisters in East Africa to be empowered to grow, and shape their lives, and the futures of their communities. It can happen. Together, as they say in Swahili: PAMOJA!
